The months of February and March are the time of calçots (a typical onion from Catalonia grilled over hot coals and eaten with a special sauce) and it's the start of the calçot season, one of the most typical, good and fun gastronomic festivals in the area: Las calçotadas.
In Sant Sadurní many cellars and restaurants offer grilled calçots to enjoy along with grilled meat, baked potatoes, beans... and Cava to toast in good company!
Come to make a good calçotada at the Capital of Cava, and discover a village full of life, wineries and unique corners as you stroll through its streets, visit the Cava Centre, the wineries or the Simón Coll Chocolate Experience...
