What is the Grand Tour of Catalonia?
Inspired by the great journeys that began in the mid-19th century, the Grand Tour of Catalonia is a circular route of more than 2,000 kilometres and a bunch of experiences to know, discover, live, taste and enjoy Catalonia. The route is conceived to be travelled in two ways by a motorized vehicle: on a 13 days´ single route or in 5 sections of several stages each.
What experiences does the Grand Tour offer in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and Penedès?
Visits to wineries, unique routes and activities among vineyards, exquisite tastings and pairings to discover wine tourism through Cava and Penedès wines, which all will turn your stay into a great experience for the senses.
The Grand Tour passes through the Penedès in section 1, called “Vineyards with a taste of the sea”.
It goes from Barcelona to Tarragona: 462 km, 6 stages or pit stops. In stage 4 you reach Sant Sadurní d'Anoia.
A good way to start your visit to Sant Sadurní is the Cava and Chocolate combined visit.
