ADAPTATION TO THE NEW SCENARIO

THE SANT SADURNÍ D'ANOIA CITY COUNCIL AND THIRTY COMPANIES IN THE CAVA AND GASTRONOMY SECTOR JOIN TO CREATE AN EXCLUSIVE AND EXCEPTIONAL CAVATAST

This 2020 due to the exceptionality caused by Covid-19, the Cavatast will have a completely different format. It won't be like you've always lived it. What will the Cavatast be like?

  • Event with a collaborative format, in 4 unique spaces in Sant Sadurní that will allow capacity control and that will offer a wide range of tastings.
  • 4 tasting sessions to enjoy a great selection of high-quality cavas and conquer palates with the local gastronomic specialties.
  • 30 companies recognized for their trajectory, the quality of their products and the excellence of their professionals will bring their cavas and gastronomic creations to the public.
  • A safe Cavatast, with all the safety and hygiene protocols.

Friday, October 2: from 8pm to midnight

Saturday, October 3: from 12pm to 4pm and from 8pm to midnight

Sunday October 4: from 12pm to 4pm

PROGRAM

Discover the secrets of each cava directly explained by the winemakers and enjoy them! Let yourself be seduced by the symbiosis among cavas, the flavors of local gastronomy, live music and the tasting spaces in the wineries, all designed with the aim of making you live an extraordinary experience in the open air. *

* In case of rain, the activities will be moved to inside the cellars.

TASTING AT THE CANALS & MUNNÉ WINERIES

Selection of cavas from the producers: Canals i Munné, Celler Vell, Juvé & Camps, Muscàndia, Oliver Viticultors and Varias, combined with the original and tasty gastronomic dishes of the Il Picarolo/Hatsukoi El Centre japanese gastro&wine, the Rovira charcuterie ans Simón Coll chocolate makers.

The tasting session will be enlivened with live music performances.

TASTING AT THE CODORNÍU WINERIES

Selection of cavas from the producers: Codorníu, Maria Rigol Ordi, Maset, Naveran, Pere Mata and Torné & Bel, combined with the most creative gastonomic dishes by the Cal Blay restaurant, the Rovira charcuterie and Simón Coll chocolate makers.

The tasting session will be enlivened with live music performances.

Selection of cavas from the producers: Freixenet, Fonpinet, M. Blanca Buti Masana, Rimarts, Segura Viudas and Torrens Moliner, combined with the gastonomic dishes by L'Àpat Catering, the Rovira charcuterie and Simón Coll chocolate makers.

The tasting session will be enlivened with live music performances.

TASTING AT THE VILARNAU WINERIES

Selection of cavas from the producers: Vilarnau, Carol Vallès, Giró Ribot, Maria Casanovas and Molí Parellada, combined the traditional gastonomic dishes by the Hotel Fonda Neus , the Rovira charcuterie and Simón Coll chocolate makers.

The tasting session will be enlivened with live music performances.

Place: Open-air tasting space in the Vilarnau cellars, ctra. d'Espiells, km 1,4, Can Petit, 08770 Sant Sadurní d´Anoia.

SAFETY AND HYGIENE PROCEDURES · COVID MEASURES

Capacity limited to 80 people per session. The groups of people will be formed by no more than 6 people. It is required to inform the organization of said groups.

Safety distance. Cavatast will be again a shared experience, but keeping the necessary distance of 2 metres.

Use of mask mandatory to access the sessions and move around.

Hidroalcoholic gel will be available in different spots.

Trust measures. Upon your arribal, the staff will explain how to acomodate within the space and there will be a control of temperature.

Ticket refunds. Money will be refunded if the event ends up cancelled due to the sanitary situation of Covid-19.

Minimum percentage of sales. The sessions will only proceed if at least 50% of the tickets are sold.

The event. Cavatast will happen within the announced dates as long as the situation and sanitary authorities allow it.
