With the arrival of spring and the first buds of the grapevines, eight wineries have come together under the coordination of the Institut del Cava to create a very unique program of wine tourism activities.

On weekends from the 4th of May to the 2nd of June, the cava will celebrate the arrival of spring with a wide range of experiences created especially for the occasion.

Located in the Penedès, the eight wineries of  The Spring of Cava offer proposals that include gastronomic showcookings and cava workshops, races and hiking along the Penedès trails, a mini-CavaOlympics, bike routes through the vineyards or the discovery of the birds of cava , among many other proposals. The activities are designed for all ages.

The wineries participating in this unique program are Agustí Torelló Mata, Covides, Giró Ribot, Juvé & Camps, Segura Viudas, Sumarroca, Vilarnau and Vins El Cep.

To complete the experiences, a selection of the best restaurants in Penedès will offer special menus to pair great cavas with local cuisine. In addition, people who want to extend their stay can spend the night in the unique rural houses in the region.
