9 days to visit for free 5 facilities of the wine culture in the Penedès and Garraf.

The Malvasía Interpretation Center in Sitges, the CIC Fassina Cava Interpretation Center in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, the DO Vinífera Interpretation Center of Avinyonet del Penedès, the Museum of Archeology of Catalonia-Olèrdola, and the VINSEUM Museum of The Wine Cultures of Catalonia, celebrate International Museum Day 2021 (May 18) with a cultural marathon.

The Viquet Marathon offers the possibility of visiting the five cultural centers for free between May 15 and 23. All those who finish the Marathon on time will also get a gift that will be delivered at the last establishment visited.

The Viquet project has been running since July 2020. It consists of a combined ticket that allows the visit to the five heritage centers of wine culture in the Penedès with a regular reduced price of € 15. The ticket is usually valid for one year from the first visit, but for this special promotion is completely free of charge as long as the five visits are made within the nine days of May established for the Marathon.

The public who love wine, culture, landscape and heritage have the opportunity to discover this rich and surprising cultural heritage that has bequeathed a 3000-year-old winemaking tradition to the Penedès.

How the Viquet Marathon works:

• The passport for the Marathon can be obtained online. In the first facility visited, the user will receive a drop-down with information on the five establishments to visit, as well as a map with their location.
• The user has only nine days, from May 15 to 23, both inclusive, to visit all the establishments for free.
• As the public visits the different spaces, their passport will be stamped until the route is completed. The order of visits is indifferent, but a prior reservation is required at the centers to ensure availability.
• If the proposal is completed within the established period, each visitor will get a very special gift: a bottle of wine, cava or malvasía from the municipality, and tickets and discounts on activities programmed by the organizing spaces.
